Power and Progression: Buffs and Fixes

There is a lot of feedback about the new expanded power band above 450+ feeling off. Bungie agrees and is rapidly working on fixes and buffs. Some can be applied directly to the live game (LUPs) and other require waiting for a patch.

Live Update Changes

The power climb from 450-500 needs to be better. (And in general it needs to be better, but this is a first step.)

A post will be made on Destiny2Team accounts when this LUP is live. Targeting the end of this week but may need to delay depending on validation efforts.

Activity Bonus Timers

Additional Changes Coming in Ash and Iron

Feedback is heard that Reclaim rewards feel undertuned, and some timers need adjusting. It’s being looked into.

New Trials of Osiris Weapon to Earn

Now that Ash & Iron is live, Trials is back to a featured weekly weapon. This week it’s the new Everburning Glitz, a Kinetic Rapid Fire Auto Rifle.

The map will be Rusted Lands.

Iron Banner is back Next Week

Iron Banner returns September 16th with a whole Event Home upgrade!

A New Comp Emblem

The new Comp emblem is: the Great Pulse (will be available with Update 9.1.5 on October 7th, reach Ascendant III at any point in Season: Reclamation to earn it)
